James & Dericklyn-Pastors of Vessel Of Honor Ministries Church
Pastors James and Dericklyn Parker have been dedicated to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 2009. In 2018, they established Vessel Of Honor Ministries, which is committed to proclaiming the Word of God both in season and out of season, there by gathering souls for the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is God's desire that none should perish, but that all may enter into eternal life.
For the past 15 years, their passion for preaching the Gospel, empowered by the Holy Spirit, has been unwavering. James embraced Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2000, fostering a deep yearning for a closer relationship with Him. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1994, serving his country for over twenty-three years before retiring in 2017. His commitment to America, coupled with his Love for God and the principle of "NO MAN LEFT BEHIND," motivates him to reach as many individuals as possible with God's Love through His Word. He delivers his messages with a gentle spirit.
Dericklyn accepted Jesus Christ at the tender age of 12, developing a profound hunger and thirst for all that the Lord offers. Like James, she is passionate about seeing all people saved, recognizing that this is the very purpose for which Jesus sacrificed His life. She preaches with a fiery spirit, sharing the Word of God.
Together they live in Upstate New York, with their miracle, creative daughter, Jalyn- Grace who became an author at the age of 9, and their graceful, loving dog, Hadassah.
